What materials do you work with?
Our globes are crafted from paper, metal wire, hand-blown glass, and a lightweight foam board base. Each material is carefully selected for its quality, durability, and its ability to enhance the delicate craftsmanship of the paper artwork.
Is each globe unique?
Yes. Every creation is made to order and entirely handcrafted in our studio. Even when inspired by the same design, subtle variations in the composition, foliage, and colour tones make each globe a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
Where are your creations made?
All our creations are imagined and handcrafted in our studio in the French Basque Country. Each piece is meticulously made by hand, with the time and care required to create something truly exceptional.
Why won't my globe be exactly the same as the one shown in the photographs?
Because each creation is made individually by hand. The composition may vary slightly from one globe to another, as may the arrangement of certain elements, the foliage, or the colour of the base. These subtle variations are a hallmark of true craftsmanship and make each piece uniquely its own.
Who creates the globes?
Every creation is imagined by Charlotte Bourrus and handcrafted in the studio using a technique refined over many years. Each globe receives meticulous attention at every stage, from the very first paper cuts to the final finishing touches.

Are the creations made to order?
Yes. Every creation is made to order in our studio. We do not keep finished pieces in stock. Each globe is crafted especially for its future owner, ensuring every piece receives the time, care, and attention it deserves.
What is the production lead time?
Each creation requires a production time that varies depending on its size, complexity, and our current order schedule. The estimated lead time is indicated on each product page. If you have a specific deadline, please don't hesitate to contact us before placing your order.
Can I give a globe as a gift?
Absolutely. Our creations are often given to celebrate a cherished place, a memorable journey, a wedding, a birth, or a birthday. If you would like your order to be shipped directly to its recipient, we would be delighted to include a personalised gift message.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
If production has not yet begun, it may be possible to modify your order. Once work on your creation has started, changes or cancellations are generally no longer possible. If you would like to make any changes, please contact us as soon as possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship our creations to many countries around the world. If your destination is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will be happy to explore a shipping solution for you.
How are the globes packaged?
Each creation is carefully protected in its reinforced presentation box, specially designed to safeguard even our most delicate pieces. Every package is thoughtfully prepared to provide optimal protection throughout its journey.
Are the creations insured during shipping?
Yes. All our shipments are fully insured until delivery, ensuring your creation is protected throughout its journey.
What should I do if my parcel arrives damaged?
If your parcel shows visible signs of damage upon arrival, please take photographs before opening it, report the damage to the carrier immediately, and contact us as soon as possible. We will guide you through the process and work with you to find the most appropriate solution.
Can I collect my order from the studio?
Yes, by appointment. If you live nearby or are visiting the French Basque Country, you are welcome to collect your creation directly from our studio.
Can I return my order?
In accordance with applicable regulations, you have a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of delivery for eligible creations. Items must be returned in their original condition and carefully protected in their original packaging.
Can made-to-order creations be returned?
Most of our creations are made especially for each order. In accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations, personalised or made-to-order creations produced to a customer's specifications are not eligible for the statutory right of withdrawal.

Can I modify my order after it has been placed?
When a return is made under the statutory right of withdrawal, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
If the return is due to an error on our part or damage incurred during transit, the studio will, of course, cover the return arrangements and associated costs.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return has been accepted, your refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days from the date we receive your creation or proof that it has been returned, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
